UEFA Cup Draw

* Newcastle face arguably the toughest test of the UK teams in the Uefa Cup group stage after being drawn to play Celta Vigo, Fenerbahce, Palermo and Eintracht Frankfurt in Group H.

* Scottish giants Rangers play Auxerre, Livorno, Partizan Belgrade and Maccabi Haifa in Group A.

*Tottenham will play Bayer Leverkusen, Club Bruges, Besiktas and Dinamo Bucharest after being drawn in Group B.

* Blackburn face Feyenoord, Basle, Wisla Krakow and Nancy in Group E.

The top three teams from each group will progress to the knockout stages.

The second legs of the UEFA Cup were played last night and the victorious teams were Schalke 04, Steaua Bucharesti, Sevilla and, courtesy of a 90th minute decider, Middlesbrough. For more details: UEFA Cup Roundup, Apr. 6

Sevilla 4 - 1 Zenit St Petersburg

The 2nd legs will be played on Thursday April 6th.

Unfortunately, Middlesbrough's visit to Switzerland was marred by crowd trouble. Boro fan held over stadium riot
