Yesterday we asked which nation lies at the bottom of the FIFA world rankings, 205th out of 205 international sides.
Well… It's American Samoa.
They hit the headlines in 2001 after setting a footballing record with their 31-0 loss to Australia. They have only ever been victorious once – August 22, 1983. Unfortunately their 3-0 win goes unrecognized in the record books as their near neighbours Wallis and Futuna Islands are not a registered FIFA team.
We all know that Brazil are number one in the FIFA world rankings, the Czech Republic number two and the US a surprising 5th. But which country lies at the bottom, 205th out of 205 international sides?
